Meet Lola Johnson

Smiling woman with long black hair wearing a cream blazer against a dark blue background.

Lola Johnson, Esq. is the Founder and Principal Attorney of L. Johnson Law and a proud Howard University "double Bison," holding both an undergraduate degree and a JD/MBA from the illustrious institution.

Lola is a business and estate planning attorney who helps clients achieve their goals with clarity, strategy, and cost efficiency. She approaches every engagement with a deep understanding of both the legal issues and the business and personal stakes behind them — delivering practical solutions and sophisticated counsel structured for the people she serves.

Drawn to the clients who energized her most, the people building something of their own, Lola founded L. Johnson Law to bring that same caliber of guidance to the entrepreneurs, small businesses, and families too often priced out of sophisticated legal counsel.

Before launching the firm, Lola spent nearly a decade working on M&A, private equity, and complex commercial matters in large-firm and in-house roles, advising clients on high-stakes transactions and the day-to-day legal decisions that drive a business forward. That experience shapes how she practices today: with transparency, accessibility, and a genuine commitment to every client's success.

Lola earned her undergraduate degree and her JD/MBA from Howard University. She is admitted to the bar in California, New York, and Illinois.
