1. Program Description
L. Johnson Law LTD ("L. Johnson Law," "the Firm," "we," "us," or "our") operates an SMS text messaging program for current and prospective clients who have affirmatively consented to receive messages from us.
2. Types of Messages and Their Purpose
The Firm sends informational and transactional messages only. Message content is limited to:
We do not send promotional or marketing text messages, we do not purchase or rent contact lists, and we do not send messages to any person who has not affirmatively opted in.
3. How to Opt In
You may opt in by checking the SMS consent box on the contact form at https://www.ljohnsonlaw.com/contact, or by providing written consent directly to the Firm. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any service or of retaining the Firm as your legal counsel.
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your interactions with the Firm and the status of your matter. You should generally expect no more than five (5) messages per month.
5. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. You are responsible for any charges assessed by your mobile carrier. Consult your wireless plan for details.
6. How to Opt Out
You may cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message from the Firm. You will receive a single confirmation message, after which no further messages will be sent. To resume messages, reply START.

8. Supported Carriers
The program is available on major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Privacy
Information collected through this program is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy at https://www.ljohnsonlaw.com/privacy-policy. Mobile information obtained through SMS consent is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
10. No Attorney-Client Relationship; Confidentiality
Text messages sent to or from the Firm do not create an attorney-client relationship. Do not transmit confidential or time-sensitive information by text message. Text messaging is not a secure channel, and messages may be stored on carrier systems and on your device. If you have an urgent matter, call the Firm directly at (213) 398-8793.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these SMS Terms & Conditions at any time. The revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
